The effects of Senate Bill 1070

You know it wasn't the peoples vote, it was the state of Arizona and it's governmental officials in office that made the decision on this recently passed Senate Bill 1070. So why should the paying concert goers have to suffer over this?

Anywhere in any other country around the world this goes on, if you don't have your documentation then you get shipped back home, it's as simple as that! People are making a huge issue over something that has been blown out of context.

This has been going on for many years of undocumented immigrants being deported back. LOOK they are not citizens of the United States, if they really wanted to live here as citizens they need to follow the rules like every other person who actually takes the inititive and goes through the program to become a American citizen.

It just took a couple individuals naming, Rev. Al Sharpton and Activist Danny Glover to bring limelight to the subject and all hell has broken loose. I can understand they wanted to get involved, but mentioning that Arizona should be boycotted over this decision. They are far from the working class people and don't see the effects and toll it is doing to the Arizona Economy.

Arizona Governor Signs Immigration Enforcement Bill

Today at 1:30pm Arizona Governor Jan Brewer ignored criticism from President Barack Obama on Friday and signed into law bill, supporters said would take handcuffs off police in dealing with illegal immigration in Arizona, the nation's gateway for human and drug smugglers.

With hundreds of people surrounding the state capital, protesting that the bill would lead to civil rights abuses, Gov. Brewer said she wouldn't tolerate racial profiling . She said critics were, "overreacting".

As I arrived on scene I noticed a majority of the protesters were high school students all who were fighting the cause against Arizona State Bill 1070. I walked around snapping pictures left and right, getting in the crowd hearing what each group, rally, news channel reporters, radio show hosts had to say about the passed bill. A lot of them said, "this is a huge mistake", "Arizona is going to be turned upside down". Already there was a individual walking around gathering signatures to "Get Governor Jan Brewer Out Of Office", come August elections.

Shortly after walking around a small group of protesters ran through, yelling something I couldn't understand, but it sure stirred up the young people causing them to hoard the group and chasing them down, all I could see was the group running surrounded by high school students throwing whatever they could at these protesters.

What is my take on this newly passed senate bill 1070. I believe there is going to be a even bigger uprise once somebody or someone is made a example of. I see more frequent stops from the Phoenix Police Department, Arizona Highway Patrol, and Arizona Border Patrol. This does not only effect immigration but people of color like myself. I know Arizona is the only state to have very strict laws basically on everything you can think of. This is going to be even tougher times to live in Arizona.
